A remix of Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) and Talib Kweli's "History" by DJ Preservation, included on his reworking of Bey's 2009 album "The Ecstatic," which is now available in our mixtape section. Go get it.

Yasiin drops the lead single off the upcoming remix project to 2009's "The Ecstatic". The album will bear the name "REcstatic", and does not yet have a release date.

We realize this track isn't new, but it's unreleased and definitely both hot and hip hop. Oh, and it was produced by Kanye West. Any complaints?

These three team up for an interesting collabo which serves as the lead single for the short film of the same title. "They Die By Dawn" was a film from Jeymes Samuel aka The Bullitts which stars Michael K. Williams, Erykah Badu, Isaiah Washington, Jesse Williams and Rosario Dawson. The soundtrack accompanying the film, "They Die By Dawn And Other Short Stories" will be released June 4th. What do you think of this one?
