May 3rd will mark the arrival of Tank And The Bangas' sophomore studio outing Green Balloon by way of Verve Forecast Records, the lates tin a string of wins for the crew since their breakout performance on NPR's Tiny Desk series.
For the new project, the five-piece has tapped on production efforts from the likes of Jack Splash, Mark Batson, Zaytoven, Robert Glasper and Louie Lastic, who takes control of the group's latest "Nice Things" cut.
"Green Balloon is a sister to Think Tank," lead vocalist and songwriter Tarriona “Tank” Ball says of the coming album. "Think Tank was 12, and Green Balloon is 16 and having sex. She’s out there."
