Terry Crews has accepted Adam Venit's apology since he has resigned.
Last week Terry Crews and Adam Venit, the man who sexually groped Terry at a Hollywood function years ago, settled their ongoing lawsuit even after Adam continued to deny his actions. Terry came forward with his story at the height of the #MeToo movement and explained with a series of tweets that he was dealing with posttraumatic stress following the assault, and did not deal with it at the time due to repercussions.
Terry has now taken to Twitter again, posting the apology he received from Adam back in March but he is only now accepting it since Adam has resigned from his position at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment LLC (WME).
"I know that you didn't ask for any of this ... I take responsibility for us being here now, together in this situation. I am sorry for all of it," Adam wrote in the letter, expressing hope to work together in the future. "I even hope that someday we can come together and go forward with compassion and understanding and be an amazing force for positivity and change in our culture."
