The Diplomats were lucky Juelz was granted a bid for relocation in his house arrest agreement, allowing the group to reunite for the video shoot to their comeback single "Sauce Boyz." All kidding aside, it's nice to see the boys club revisit the old haunts in a craps house setting with boudoir lighting.
If you weren't there for the Dipset washover effect in the early aughts, you might fail to understand the significance of this accord. A few of Dipset's comeback attempts over the past decade registered as false starts, but only to those expecting a return to normalcy, and there's reason to believe Cam'Ron was growing tired of carrying the load.
In the "Sauce Boyz" video, all four core members of the fold including Freaky Zeaky, get a chance to saunter down memory lane. The Dipset boyz, dressed in coming-of-age attire, pay homage to a formerly-licensed "liqueur" they once promoted, all in the name new beginnings.
