Earlier this year, Tink shared her Pain & Pleasure EP, coming through with a six-track effort in which the Chicago rapper and singer explored the contrasts of love & relationships.
After a few months of silence, promoting the EP with a string of shows and a video or two, Tink has returned once again to gift us with an R&B track "Different." As has been the norm for Tink, she's leaning on melodic vocals to get the job done as lulls of the stresses of love gone wrong, reflecting on the disconnect in a relationship.
All the while, we still await Tink's debut album, an effort long delayed by a string of label issues and put on hold following newfound independence. While eight projects in, Tink has never officially dropped off a proper debut, and hopefully "Different" signals toward that arrival.
You're spending time away all night
I need you here on my side
You said you'd be around for life
You don't even call my name
