Scott dropped the shoe on his birthday.
Yesterday was Travis Scott's birthday and to celebrate, the artist dropped his highly-anticipated Air Jordan 1 collaboration early on his website, along with a plethora of new apparel such as shorts and t-shirts. Scott dropped the link seemingly out of nowhere and without warning which shocked many of his fans. As we've known for a while now, this will be an extremely limited shoe with barely any stock to meet the high demand. Having said that, it's absolutely no surprise that the shoe's sold out instantly and that the vast majority of his fans who tried to cop the shoes struck out.
Luckily, all of those who took an L will be able to try again on May 11th when the shoe is officially dropped online and at select Nike and Jordan Brand retailers. The apparel, which you can view here, will also be released so if you miss out on the shoes, at least you'll be able to get your hands on something.
Once again, the real drop is expected to be quite limited so it will probably be very hard to cop. Be prepared for even more L's on release day as the whole sneaker community will be looking to get these.
