Trinidad James has been dropped from Def Jam Records.
Well that ride didnât last too long. After signing with Def Jam back in 2012 following the success of âAll Gold Everythingâ, Trinidad James is no longer member of the family.
Taking to twitter Friday night, Trinidad announced that he has been dropped from Def Jam Records. Along with that, TJ revealed that heâll be releasing his debut album for free now, and any producer looking to get paid, better not get their hopes up. Trinidad stated âIf u hear ur beat or verse on it. I hope u want dap cuz i got no moneyâ. (So much for all that gold he had).
Trinidad James hasnât been shy when it comes to releasing material, as he dropped off his 10 Piece Mild project last Summer, but just couldnât match the success of âAll Gold Everythingâ, ultimately hurting his career.
Itâs been a bumpy road for TJ, and it now looks like things just got a whole lot rougher.
Is this the end of Trinidad? Or should someone else pick him up?
