Ty Dolla $ign has been everywhere this year. He's made appearances on the biggest albums of the year including both Kanye West's Ye and KIDS SEE GHOSTS with Kid Cudi as well as Drake's Scorpion and The Carters' Everything Is Love. Ty Dolla $ign previously teased a joint project with the G.O.O.D Music head honcho, although it's unclear when it will drop. However, Ty did assure fans that the album hasn't been forgotten and that he's currently waiting for 'Ye to return from Africa to wrap it up.

During an Instagram Live session, Ty Dolla $ign revealed that his collaborative project with Kanye West is almost done. The rapper revealed that he's been doing his parts while 'Ye's been on his trip to Uganda.

"The album's coming, I'm almost done with it now. Just putting the last final touches on it. Me and Kanye making it together," he said. "They left to Africa though, so I'm doing my parts now. So I'm just waiting 'til they -- well, I'm doing my parts now, and then when we get back together we'll finish it."

Ty Dolla $ign also responded to the backlash he faced after he commented a laughing emoji on Snoop Dogg's video that suggested Kim Kardashian is the KiKi from Drake's "In My Feelings."

"I had erased that shit earlier on Snoop's page because I didn't realize they were getting at my boy," he explained. "At first, I just thought it was funny because it was Snoop just being funny, but I had to erase that shit because I don't condone anyone talking about my boy's wife."
