Tyga fell in love with Haiti during his first very first trip to the country. He linked up with his friend and fellow rapper Won-G back in the Carribean nation earlier this month with big plans in mind. Won-G extended an invitation to his native land to discuss a community building project in the sector of education.

The plans are unofficial so far. The trip was one of exploration rather than execution. Still, the travels have set up the rappers on a path towards making a difference in the efforts to rebuild Haiti. They plan to work with various ministers of the country to erect 40 schools. The duo also plans to bring financial aid to the institutions offering textbooks, computers and other materials. Investments in sanitation systems are also part of the scheme.

Music will obviously contribute to their community efforts. Concerts featuring Haitian and international stars including Kanye WestNicki Minaj, Chris Brown, will benefit the project. Kanye West, who is currently in Africa, plans to visit Haiti shortly, though a date has yet to be confirmed.

Haiti has been damaged by a slew of natural disasters in the past decade or so, most notably a massive earthquake in 2010
