This year marks the silver anniversary for Wu-Tang Clan's groundbreaking debut, Enter The 36 Chambers. Through the test of time, they've proved that Wu-Tang is forever. Now, U-God has some major plans to celebrate the crew's 25th anniversary with his forthcoming album Venom. To kick off the campaign, he recruits Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and Scotty Wotty on "Epicenter" for an HNHH premiere.
U-God drops off his new single off his forthcoming album, Venom, that drops on March 30th. The rapper recruits frequent collaborators for the job and brings DJ Green Lantern on board to handle the song's production. The song continues to prove the Clan has got better with age. Each rapper brings their own strengths to the table. U-God shared a statement about what the song means and why 25 years later, they're still killing it.
"Wu-Tang is forever and will always represent the epicenter of hip-hop, me and my brothers throwing darts back to back that's that Park Hill $h*t, watch out we causing Tsunamis of swagger up in this motherfucka." He told HNHH.
In addition to the album, he'll be embarking on his first solo tour in five years and will also be dropping his book RAW: My Journey Into Wu-Tang on March 6th. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
Venom will be available for pre-order tonight.
