Ever since Colin Kaepernick's National Anthem protest his jersey has become one of the hottest selling items in the NFL shop, but not everybody who buys the $100 replica is doing so in support of the 49ers QB.

A bar in Virginia Beach called Krossroads Rock and Country Bar has taped Kaepernick's red #7 jersey to the tile floor and is using it as a doormat. A man named James Perry posted the image of the jersey doormat on his Facebook account and has asked the community to boycott the bar.

In speaking with WTKR, Perry said:

“What went through my mind was like 'Wow, is this real or is it a joke?'”

“How would you feel if someone taped a police officer’s uniform down?"

WTKR also caught up with the owner of the bar who reportedly told them, "taping the jersey down was about sportsmanship and Kaepernick's disrespect of the flag- not race."

Sportsmanship, huh?

The post has since been shared over 5,000 times on Facebook, with many saying they won't be stepping foot in Krossroads Rock and Country Bar again.
