Where is "Flockaveli 2?"
It was last year that Waka Flocka announced his intent to finally deliver on Flockaveli II, the follow-up to his 2010 classic debut. According to the Atlanta-bred rapper, the album had to be made about four different times as hard drive crashes and the like prevented fans from hearing any final products during this exhaustive wait period. We previously were gifted with the first pair of singles off the new effort in the forms of "Circles" and Trap My Ass Off," and now, as anticipation continues to build, Waka has dropped off visuals for the latter.
As the title implies, this cut is an ode to getting it by any means necesary as Waka declares, "Tourin' and trappin', trappin' and tourin' / Trap house bring in what you pay for that foreign." While the message here is aligned with the typical content we get from the rapper's caatalog, he previously mentioned that listeners should expect Flockaveli II to dive in a bit deeper than usual.
“It’s the only record I have ever made that I had tears in my eyes," he revealed. "It reminds me of all the pain I overcame.”
