Adult Swim picked one of the most energetic rappers for a reason.
Despite its popularity in the United States, the Dragon Ball series has always been slow to bring the various sequels over from Japan. This time, theyâve picked up the pace and the first trailer for the US version of Dragon Ball Super is here courtesy of Toonami and Adult Swim. In true Adult Swim fashion, theyâve picked Danny Brownâs âAinât It Funnyâ for the trailer.
The video sets the stage for another calamitous villain to assault the universe, and fans of Dragon Ball Z likely wonât be disappointed. The show originally premiered in Japan in July of 2015, so diehard fans may have already seen the Japanese version. Nonetheless, plenty of people will be stoked to see the show.
Dragon Ball Super premieres Saturday, January 7, 2017. Whoâs gonna be watching?
