The predecessor to "Rolling Papers 2" is almost here.
Earlier in the week, Wiz Khalifa revealed that his highly-anticipated Rolling Papers 2 project was complete, but it wouldn’t be arriving before he gifts us with another mixtape for the vault.
Taking to Twitter earlier Saturday (October 15), the rapper revealed that his Laugh Now, Fly Later mixtape would be arriving on November 10th. It was in a slew of tweets that he responded to fans promps about the effort.
“Bosses need something to smoke and think to. Time to start this wave,” was his response when asked why decided to drop a mixtape ahead of the project.
It was just last year that Wiz delivered on his Khalifa compilation project, featuring appearances from the likes of Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, Juicy J, Rico Love, and Chevy Woods among others. While Rolling Papers 2 will mark his first studio album since 2014 when we received the Blacc Hollywood effort, Wiz has still kept busy satiating the masses with a few projects, including the Bong Rips four-track EP and the Pre-Rolleds effort just before that. So far, there haven’t been any other developments on the arrival of Rolling Papers 2, the follow up to 2011’s Rolling Papers.
Earlier in October, Wiz alo dropped of another episode of his Day Today vlog series alongside producer, rapper, and singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams, with the pairing leading many to believe that there is some new heat that we've never hard before, possibly ready for release that will finds its home on the Rolling Papers 2 tracklist.
"I used to just be super impulsive, and I didn't think things out," Pharrell can be heard talling Wiz. in the video. "Anything that I do, I want it to have like depth and purpose."
