Of all the well-known emcees who have dropped strong long-form projects this autumn, one name that has been noticeably absent has been Wiz Khalifa. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native may be quiet on the music release front right now, but fans of his instantly recognizable sound have to wait too much longer for new tracks to hit their ear drums. With Laugh Now, Fly Later due out November 10th, the rapper has confirmed more details about the upcoming project via Twitter, including the tape's cover art as well as its tracklist.

The image that will grace the mixtape's cover, which draws on a distinctive blaxploitation vibe from the 1970's, was made public yesterday (November 4th) on Twitter. Fans quickly clamored to observe not only that, but the accompanying tracklist, however there was some questions as to its legitimacy or not. Thankfully for his supporters, Wiz put any doubtful minds at ease by confirming that both items were indeed accurate and will be what consumers can expect to see when the mixtape drops next week.

The tracklist for Laugh Now, Fly Later is also listed below.

Wiz Khalifa is also bringing fans a new album called Rolling Papers 2, which he stated was completed not long ago. Laugh Now, Fly Later will be released beforehand, and Wiz even showcased a new song that could potentially be part of the fray where the latter project is concerned. The social media clip, which can be viewed here, previews what sounds like an out-and-out banger, containing lyrics such as: “Rolling paper I aint smoking blunts (kush) oh a day its two pounds a month/ Put it in my lungs then Im good/ Only smoking fire like I should.” Wiz smoked a joint in the clip as well, because why wouldn't he.
