Counting down the greatest Money In The Bank cash ins in WWE history.
WWE's annual Money In The Bank pay-per-view has become one of the company's signature events of the year, joining the "Big Four" of Survivor Series, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.
WWE debuted the "Money In The Bank" ladder match at Wrestlemania 21 in 2005, and by 2010 the beloved match concept was spun off on to its own pay-per-view aptly named after the signature match.
The rules of the show's namesake ladder match are simple: The prize is a briefcase hanging above the ring which contains a contract for a championship match. That contract can be "cashed in" by the Money In The Bank winner at any point in the next 365 days, giving the briefcase holder a substantial advantage over whomever they target.
To date, there have been 19 Money In The Bank ladder match winners, almost all of whom successfully cashed-in the coveted championship match contract, and a select few who did so in grand fashion.
The 2018 Money In The Bank PPV will get underway at 7pm ET tonight, June 17. Scroll down to take a look at our Top-5 Money In The Bank cash ins ahead of tonight's PPV event.
