The car that XXXTentacion was fatally shot in will be returned to his mother.
When XXXTentacion passed away, the hip-hop community took a while to process the loss of one of the brightest young stars in the game. X was blending a few different genres to create his own style, catering to those that have had to cope with depression and anxiety for their lives. His sound was therapeutic and when it comes to connecting with an audience, not many did it better than X. He was fatally shot inside of his BMW after leaving a motorsports store last year with four men being arrested as suspects in his murder. The rapper's car was being kept as a piece of evidence but according to legal documents, it will soon be returned to XXXTentacion's mother.
The Blast is reporting that the car that XXXTentacion was driving at the time of his death will soon be returned to Cleopatra Bernard after a motion was filed in January for return of property. Prosecutors requested that the BMW i8 sports car be returned to X's mother because it can become damaged if it sits in storage for too long. Documents state that without being driven and maintained, extensive damage could be caused to the car. Obviously, the car is one of the things that X left behind after his death so it makes sense why Cleo would want to have it at home.
