Zaytoven has some heat locked away.
Since he started producing for rappers back in the early 2000's, Zaytoven has become one of the most important and influential producers in rap. Helping to build the careers of superstars like Gucci Mane and Future, Zay has a number of classic projects under his belt, and according to him, he may have a few more on the way.
Zaytoven sat down for an interview with DJ Scream and Moran the Man's radio show on Hip-Hop Nation. There, he revealed a number of potentially exciting projects that he's just waiting to put out.
When Scream asks him which record he's holding on to that he wishes he could release, he mentions a record called "The Real Me" that he has with Future. This eventually leads to the subject of Beast Mode 2, to which Zay claims is finished. He goes on to mention that he has a whole mess of projects that he's waiting for the green light to release, including projects with Gucci Mane, Trey Songz, and Lecrae.
He also mentions that a lot of his time has been spent with newer rappers, so we should expect from fresh faces to get the Zaytoven co-sign in the future. Zay was also spotted hanging out with Jay Z in Jay's home studio, but even Zay doesn't know what'll happen with the songs that they put together.
Zaytoven will be releasing a debut album, Trap Holizay, sometime in the future, and will be embarking on a North American tour. You can watch the entire interview with Zay down below:
