WWE Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey recently said the one thing guaranteed to get under the skin of die hard wrestling fans: "Wrestling is scripted. It's made up. It's not real."

Rousey made that inciteful statement, among other anti-WWE comments, during an episode of her vlog series, thus solidifying her recent heel turn.

Of course, a few WWE superstars were quick to respond, including Charlotte Flair, who is set to challenge Rousey for her title at Wrestlemania 35 next month.

In her rebuttal, Flair pointed to the ass kicking that Rousey received in her final UFC fights.

"Can someone please remind Captain Badass here that her last two fights before coming to WWE ended with her unconscious and sobbing in the cage? Four years ago, you were untouchable. Now? Not so much. You’re a class act, @RondaRousey"

The storyline involving Rousey, Flair and Becky Lynch has often used social media as a means to drum up hype and blur the lines between reality and kayfabe. Rousey's inflammatory remarks did a fine job checking both boxes as WWE prepares for this Sunday's Fastlane PPV.

Flair is slated to go up against Lynch on that card, and if Lynch wins (which she almost certainly will) she will be added to the title match at Wrestlemania, making for a highly anticipated, and possible main event, Triple Threat match for the Raw Women's Championship.
