Clear Channel Communications is a mass media company that owns over 800 radio stations in the United States, so when they push a song, it gets heard. The company launched a new strategy this year with "On The Verge", in which a specially selected song is required to be played at least 150 times by all of the stations in the network.

Iggy Azalea's "Fancy", which has spent a few consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard charts, was chosen for the program on April 3rd. While there's no way of tracing how much of an effect "On The Verge" had on the song (keep in mind, the video was huge independently of radio play), it certainly played somewhat of a role in getting it heard.

Craig Morgan's "Keep Them Kisses Comin'" was lifted into the top 10 by the program just last week, but it will take more careful analysis to see just how powerful the system is.
