The entire cast of "Community," including Childish Gambino himself, will be doing a table-read of a beloved episode.

There, Glover, series creator Dan Harmon, Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong will stage a reading of the beloved episode "Cooperative Polygraphy." While the episode originally featured Walton Goggins of Justified and Vice Principals fame, the actor will not be reprising his role for this occasion. On the other hand, Glover will once again be stepping into the shoes of Troy, the character that helped propel him from YouTube comedian to breakout star.
In case you need a refreshing, "Cooperative Polygraphy" took place following the death of Chevy Chase's Pierce Hawthorne, who arranged for Goggins' character to read out his last will and testament -- as expected, all matter of hijinx proceeded to ensue. The episode is also notable for being the one in which Troy made his decision to depart on a seafaring adventure, sealing the deal for his eventual departure from the series.
Should you be interested in watching this reunion special play out, head over to Sony Pictures TV’s Community YouTube page on Monday, May 18, 2 PM Pacific Time. All proceeds raised are set to be donated to COVID-19 relief efforts, namely the charities José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen and Frontline Food. Will you be watching this?
