We've seen some of the biggest releases of the year hosted exclusively on streaming sites, and in some new data retrieved by Hits Daily Double, it's clear that those releases have landed the respective artists among the most streamed of the year so far. Drake, Rihanna, and Kanye West are cited as the top three artists of 2016 so far, with Drake earning 1.44 billion streams, Rihanna with 795 million, and Kanye with 753 million. Below Ye is Justin Bieber at 658M and Beyonce, who also released her album, Lemonade, as a Tidal exclusive, coming in with 592M.

In general, the top 30 chart shows a large number of rap and R&B artists, including the likes of Future, G-Eazy, The Weeknd, and Kendrick Lamar rounding out the top ten, as well as Drake & Future, J. COle, Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown, ASAP Rocky, Nicki Minaj, Jeremih, and Logic.
