As we already know, Snoop Dogg is returning to host the 2014 awards, and along with hosting duties, he's also set to perform. In addition to Snoop, BET has lined up a wide array of artists: Common, Birdman, DJ Premier, DJ Mustard, Rich Homie Quan, Bobby Shmurda, Young Thug, Vince Staples, Jay Electronica, Migos, YG and Rae Sremmurd.

Although the award show is airing on October 14th, it'll be taped beforehand at Atlanta’s Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center on September 20th.

Drake leads the pack this year with eight nominations to his name. HotNewHipHop is also a contender this year, for Best Hip-Hop Online Site!
