Juice WRLD is asserting himself in these freestyle sessions and doing a bang up job. So when I perused the tracklist for Swervo and saw his name, my face lit up. I want to see Juice win. I want to see his zeal reach a greater platform. And to some degree, these were yearnings I had expressed at the onset of G Herbo's career. Hindsight is a mandible claw, look at us now.
"Honestly" is a zen pack of inaccuracies. But that in itself is what strikes me the most about Swervo. G Herbo approaches his verse like a take-home assignment worth extra credit, except Juice WRLD is so "hot for teacher," a McIntosh apple gets slung at daybreak giving way to awkward tension. But before long Juice and Herbo become the bestest of friends.
