Former Scientologist Leah Remini believes that Danny Masterson getting charged with rape is "just the beginning" when it comes to victims of Scientology.
Leah Remini, a former Scientologist who famously left the church back in 2013, is relieved that victims of rape at the hands of Scientologists are finally getting the justice they deserve. After actor and Scientologist, Danny Masterson, was officially charged with three counts of forcible rape on Wednesday (June 17th), Leah is rejoicing in seeing the evils of the cult-like religion slowly be exposed.
"Finally, victims are being heard when it comes to Scientology!" she tweeted in response to the news about Masterson. "Praise the lord! This is just the beginning Scientology, your days of getting away with it is coming to an end!" Leah has been vocal and adamant about taking down the Church of Scientology ever since she left seven years ago. She even launched a docuseries on A&E titled Scientology and the Aftermath, in which she explored the dark underbelly of the cryptic, controversial church. The series featured interviews with two of Masterson's accusers and highlighted how these cases fit within a larger pattern of assault accusations against Scientologists.

This week, Masterson was finally charged with forcibly raping three different women in alleged incidents that occurred between 2001-2003. These accusations first became public knowledge back in 2017, but the investigations have been stalled significantly for years. If convicted, he is facing a maximum sentence of 45 years to life in prison. He is set to be arraigned on September 18th.
