Prior to last Wednesday, Quentin Miller would have been just another unrecognizable name on our daily homepage songs list. However, since Meek Mill's twitter rant, his name has become ubiquitous on the rap blogosphere, with his writing credits alongside Drake unearthed and dissected. Now that the Atlanta native is getting some internet fame, an old record he did in 2013 has resurfaced (and has been labeled as new by some, but Quentin cleared that up on twitter).
Despite being an old record, the content of the song actually works pretty well give the present-day circumstances. He raps about artists sneak-dissing on twitter, and the state of the rap game; however he's set on ignoring obstacles and focused on making paper.
You rappin' dudes I don't get you
Cause niggas sell they soul for some clothes and Versace gold
Niggas ain't goals when they shoot them viral videos
World been cold I just finally threw my sweater on
