Hip-hop has become a dominant force, not only in music but pop culture as a whole. I mean, the majority of viral dance moves that emerge are typically accompanied by a hip-hop song. While the culture is something that's stemmed from the streets, the gems that come from hip-hop music are applicable in many situations. MSNBC host Ari Melber has quoted Mobb Deep, Quavo, and Young Thug in the past, but one of his recent guests on the show decided to apply some lyrics from an underground hero and paralleled it to Michael Flynn's scenario.

During a recent segment on Ari Melber's show, veteran sportswriter Mike Lupica discussed a recently surfaced memo from Michael Flynn's. Towards the end of the segment, Mike Lupica compares the news on Flynn to a bar on Mr. Fantasik rapped on MF DOOM's "Rap Snitch Knishes" off of MM... FOOD. Lupica seemed to use the MF DOOM line to put a smile on Melber's face which he did successfully.

"I was just going to tell you that I know what you were thinking about Michael Flynn today. It was the old MF DOOM line," he said. "'Snitches tellin' all their business/ Sittin' in court and bein' their own star witness."

Melber's seen with a smile on his face while the other guest on the show clearly had no idea who the hell Lupica was quoting.
