Back in October, Offset got down on one knee and proposed to Cardi B in front of a packed house at Powerhouse 2017. However, what nobody else knew was that the two actually had a secret marriage and have been married for 9 months. Despite the fact that Cardi B or Offset wanted to keep this aspect of their life private, the two of them reportedly never made the minister who officiated their marriage sign an non-disclosure agreement.

According to TMZ, Offset and Cardi B never made Minister Melinda Guess sign an non-disclosure agreement to keep their marriage on the low. Guess said that she never met Offset or Cardi B before officiating their marriage but she admits she was totally surprised when their team requested that she marry them. Much like what Cardi B stated, Guess revealed that both parties wanted to keep their marriage private and Guess had no problems with that at all. Clearly, Guess is pretty good at keeping her lips sealed.

Guess said their marriage wasn't anything incredibly extravagant. They wore pants and t-shirts for the ceremony. They also exchanged traditional vows and nothing was personalized.

Guess runs Officiant ATL and says the standard rate for home ceremonies are between $500 and $1000.

The news that they were married surfaced after Offset thanked his "wife" on stage at the 2018 BET Awards.
