Last week, we were rather shocked to hear OG Macosay that he'd signed a major label deal. What about his deal with Quality Control, the label founded by Coach K and Pee Thomas that's also home to Migos? Now the situation's been cleared up, as QC has announced that it's partnering with Motown Records and its parent company, Capitol Music Group.

Hit Daily Double spoke with Coach about the merger:

"We're excited about this partnership and believe in Motown and CMG's commitment to hip-hop and its role in the company's urban music profile. The people there are really good at what they do, and we'll be providing them with great music and artist development to enhance their growth. Teaming together should bring awesome results for everyone."

The first Quality Control/Motown joint release will be Maco's previously-announced debut album, Children Of The Rage, which is coming in the fourth quarter of this year. Nothing's mentioned about MigosYRN The Album, which is still scheduled for a June 16 release, so hopefully that just means it'll be released by Quality Control solo. At this point, though, a delay seems possible. Stay tuned.
