It's been a while since we've heard from Scipio, a former member of Game's Black Wall Street clique, but on "Big Drugs," he returns stronger than ever, and backed by Crooked I.
Although "big drugs" isn't exactly a commonly used phrase, the way Scipio and Crooked I use it makes it very clear that "big drugs" are the same as "hard drugs." Scipio sticks to pushing (and occasionally testing) them, but Crooked I embodies them: "I'm crack, I'm smack, I'm dope, I'm everything, I'm promethazine..."
"Big Drugs" is an interesting take on the drug peddler narrative that's been very common in hip-hop since its birth -- we hope to hear more collaborations from these two in the future.
I'm klonopins and I'm oxycontin
I'm that pill that the block be poppin'
Y'all know for sure the raw blow flow
You dope fiend lean when you spot me rockin'
