Cops have arrested a man they believe is connected to Tekashi 6ix9ine's kidnapping in July.
Back in July, reports surfaced that Tekashi 6ix9ine was kidnapped and pistol-whipped before the suspects left off with several expensive pieces of jewelry. The rapper was later hospitalized, but none of the injuries were life-threatening. However, some new developments have been reported on the incident. According to TMZ, police have arrested a suspect in connection to the incident.
Anthony Jamel Ellison was arrested last week in connection to Tekashi 6ix9ine's kidnapping last week. A grand jury indicted the suspect on one count of conspiracy to obstruct commerce by robbery, one count of obstructing commerce by robbery as well as one count of carrying out a firearm to commit a crime. Ellison was sent to jail on last week (Nov. 6th). He's currently in federal prison in Manhattan while he awaits trial. Ellison has pled not guilty to all the charges against him.
According to the publication's sources, Ellison was a former member of 6ix9ine's management crew prior to his mainstream success. Law enforcement sources said that the suspect is an affiliate of the 9 Trey Bloods gang. What's interesting is that 6ix9ine previously said that he felt the kidnapping and pistol-whipping incident was an inside job.
