Too $hort is one of the most legendary rappers in the game, going back decades to be linked to some of the greatest emcees to ever step on a stage. As he prepares his upcoming project, The Pimp Tape, the Bay Area performer has been celebrating as he regularly does. He's been hitting up the strip club and spending his hard-earned dollars on his favorite form of entertainment. He spoke about his upcoming album to Page Six and, in doing so, he made some pretty interesting claims about Eazy-E's death in 1995.

At this point, it's common knowledge that Eazy-E passed away in the mid-90's after complications with AIDS. While many conspiracy theorists have argued that he was infected with the disease by somebody who wished to kill him, the fact is that we lost the 31-year-old far too soon. Too $hort was connected to Eazy-E and in his conversation with Page Six, he raised doubt on the cause of death that has been publicized for years. "I don’t necessarily agree," said Short when the AIDS complications were brought up. "I don’t really want to get into that right now. But that is not how I think it happened."

He didn't go into detail about how he thinks Eazy-E passed, instead taking his time to state how much of a legend the man is. "Let’s say if there was no Eazy-E, how does that impact hip-hop? If you had no Eazy-E, you got no NWA, no Dr. Dre, no Ice Cube, no Tupac Death Row years... no Bone Thugs. No Aftermath, no 50 Cent, no Eminem — the way we know them. The branch that is called Eazy-E on the hip-hop tree is massive."
