Willow Smith is a more divisive artist than she was back in her "Whip My Hair" days (we all agreed that's a jam, right?). Entering her experimental phase as she becomes an existential teen, the young celeb's music has followed suit. Her new record, teh crytically titled "'Rta" is a shape-shifting ballad that recalls some of Jhene Aiko's more meditative moments, as well as Beyonce's unpredictable segues.Â
Of course, the lyrics are straight off of Jaden's Twitter account, with talk of black holes, singularity, and the like. This time, however, it seems to make sense with the music.
If you really wanna go to London, boy
I'll sail ya, I'll sail ya
If you wanna see a blackhole, singularity
Holla back at me
