Brock Lesnar is WWE Universal Champion once again, thanks to some help from acting WWE Raw General Manager, Baron Corbin.

Corbin attacked Lesnar's opponent Braun Strowman with the vacant belt at the start of the match and that was all The Beast Incarnate needed to secure the victory. Lesnar throttled Strowman, hitting him with several "F-5s" before finally putting him down for the three-count in front of the sold out crowd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Following the conclusion of the match, WWE announced that Lesnar is now scheduled for a champion vs champion match against SmackDown Live champ AJ Styles at Survivor Series on November 18.

Lesnar is also rumored to be in the building at Madison Square Garden tomorrow night for UFC 230, where Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against Derrick Lewis. Cormier and Lesnar have a history, and the champ-champ has already issued a warning to the new Universal champion.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Busted Open, Cormier said (H/T Cageside Seats): ”Brock Lesnar is ‘allegedly’ supposed to be in the building on Saturday. If Brock Lesnar comes into that octagon on Saturday, I’m slapping him. I’m not playing anymore this time. No pushing and jawing. He better not come into my octagon this weekend. I’m going to do it. I’ll definitely do it. I’m gonna smack him right in his face. I’m smacking him. I owe him one.”

Lesnar (5-3, NC) hasn’t competed in the UFC since a no contest against Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July of 2016.
